Multimedia Lab
In 2009-10 YCNC established a fully functional multimedia lab, complete with Mac laptops, Final Cut software, camera equipment, microphones and a sound studio. We have delivered a range of film projects with young people, including an accredited Certificate II in Creative Industries which has seen several young people go on to further study in media.
In 2011 we will be expanding the lab to include a 10 person state of the art training room, to meet the demand of school students and young people who want to develop their film and media skills.
YCNC’s Multimedia Lab is available for hire to community services and other local organisations. In 2010 we have delivered the following external projects through the lab:
- ACE North Coast – Youth Social Inclusion Project
- YWCA – Unsung Heroes, a project promoting the contribution of unsung heroes in the local Aboriginal community
- Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre – Youth Employment Rights at Work project
Hire our facilities:
- Get some after hours time in on your media project in YCNC’s edit suites
- Hire YCNC’s accredited staff to create your film project
- Document an important community event or program
- Record and edit music to professional standard.
