YCNC has changed significantly since its inception as Rural and Town Youth Services in 1993, which brought together four separately funded youth services funded in 1991.
Over the past 20 years YCNC has delivered much needed services, including housing and support to homeless and at risk young people. In the past fifteen years we have also grown our capacity to deliver youth and community building programs, so celebrate and support the positive potential of young people through the region.
With the support of a dedicated management committee, which has now evolved into a Board of Governance, YCNC has restructured and revitalised with changing community needs and sector standards. In 2010 we also implemented best practice standards in case management and became a registered community housing provider.
